A little clarity
about your data.
This notice covers the Lucern marketing website and beta waitlist. The IDE’s data handling will be explained separately before you connect a project.
Who runs this site
Lucern is built by Rahil Sheth. For privacy questions, corrections, or removal from the waitlist, email rahilsheth05@gmail.com.
When you join the waitlist
We store your email address, the optional answer to what you build, and your signup time. We use this information to manage beta access, send a welcome note, and send invitations. We also keep welcome-email processing records, including attempt counts, processing state and a provider message ID when available. Signing up does not connect a repository or upload your source code.
Where information is processed
Vercel hosts this website and processes requests. Upstash Redis stores waitlist entries, email processing records, and aggregate counts, and supports rate limiting. Resend processes recipient addresses and email content to send our messages and report delivery or bounce information in its service. Requests include technical information such as your IP address; it is used for abuse prevention and may also appear in hosting service logs. We do not sell waitlist information.
How we measure the website
We count page loads, opening-demo trace interactions, chapters reached, form starts, and signup outcomes in daily totals. These counters contain no email addresses, visitor identifiers, full URLs, or advertising profiles. They are event counts, not unique visitor counts. Daily counters expire after 90 days. IP-based limits help prevent abuse of measurement endpoints; IP addresses are not included in the aggregate counters.
There are no tracking cookies or advertising trackers added by this website. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals disable optional page-load, chapter-reach, and form-start measurement. Operational signup outcome counts remain in use to check reliability.
How long we keep waitlist information
We keep your entry while managing private beta invitations. You can ask us to remove it at any time by emailing from the address you used to sign up. We have not set an automatic deletion date for the waitlist.
Your choices
The build preference is optional. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your waitlist entry and associated email processing records by contacting Rahil. You can also reply to our welcome note to ask to leave the waitlist. A welcome note does not grant beta access; invitations are sent separately when spots are available.
